The second location is La Cappella del Cardinale (the cardinal's chapel), located inside the villa so ideal for the colder seasons, with walls and ceilings full of frescoes of extraordinary beauty.

Weddings at Hadrian’s Villa

villa Adriana Tivoli

Hadrian’s Villa is a grand complex distributed on a tufaceous floor of about 120 hectares of which 40 can be visited, built in the 2nd century. A.D. at the behest of the emperor Hadrian from whom it took its name and made it its imperial residence.

Celebrating your wedding in such an important villa, rich in historical and architectural beauties, thermal waters, nymphaeums, pavilions and gardens, is an emotion that the spouses will bring to their memories forever.

Civil weddings and civil unions can be celebrated in the complex of the Pecile, a vast quadrangular portico 235 meters long and 110 meters wide, located west of the Maritime Theater and the Hall of Philosophers, with the garden and a large swimming pool in the center.

The Pecile is surrounded by a colonnade with copies of famous Greek statues facing the pool and not towards visitors, thus creating an enchanting reflection on the surface of the water: perfect setting for unique shots during the celebration.

Being an outdoor location, it is recommended for weddings in the milder seasons and in any case on sunny days without rain.

Weddings at Sanctuary of Ercole Vincitore

villa d'este Tivoli

The Sanctuary of Ercole Vincitore is a monumental complex open to the public only since 2015 after years of restoration, coinciding with the inauguration of Expo 2015, with the aim of making this site a cultural destination of Tivoli.

It was built in the 2nd century B.C. overhanging the Aniene river, on an area originally of 3,000 square meters with the aim of surprisingly scenographically all those who came to Tivoli from Rome.

One of the most important examples of Roman architecture, the sanctuary was divided into three environments: a temple, a theater and a huge square that served as a sacred area, and inside there was the statue of Hercules, god revered by the Salii, a very ancient Roman college of priests.

Civil marriages can now be celebrated within the monumental complex in two places: the Triportico and the Sala Grande.

Saying "Yes" immersed in a historical context so full of charm and undisputed beauty is equivalent to living a fairytale day for both spouses and their guests.
